The NBA Draft is here once again. Last year, we saw that the number 1 overall pick, Ben Simmons, didn’t play a game. Philly will be looking to hit the jackpot this year as they hold the number 1 pick for the second year in a row. It will be interesting to see it there are any blockbuster trades tonight that could send superstars like Carmelo Anthony, Jimmy Butler, LaMarcus Aldridge or even Paul George on the move.

There are a few trades that I do expect to see happen tonight. I expect LaMarcus Aldridge to be traded tonight. The Trail Blazers may be able to bring him back by giving away that #15 pick. I also think the Cavs might be ringing alot of phones tonight; not to acquire a draft pick, but to try to obtain Carmelo Anthony or Jimmy Butler. I do not see the Celtics getting rid of that #3 pick, but if there is anything else that the Knicks would take for Kristaps, I wouldn’t be surprised to see that trade come through. The other team who I expect to make some noise tonight would be the Sacramento Kings. They have 2 top 10 picks and lots of cap room. The Kings have a history of picking a lot of busts, but I see them turning it around this year.
